You know Slow Food.
You just never knew Vicenza holds Veneto’s record.

For the fifth consecutive edition, the province of Vicenza holds Veneto’s Slow Food record, with seven Chiocciole in the official 2026 Osterie d’Italia guide.
Across Vicenza province, food and wine routes cross very different landscapes, from fossil rich limestone wine hills and volcanic vineyards to river country and Alpine dairies. Rare corn, aged mountain cheese, white asparagus, Grenache, Vin Santo and old recipes are all part of the food culture of this corner of northern Italy. National Geographic, the Michelin Guide and The Guardian have all featured Vicenza and its food landscape, yet the province still rarely appears on the usual lists of Italy’s best food destinations and wine regions.
